B.E.V.I. - The Art of Winemaking

B.E.V.I. (Berries, Oenologists and Winemakers of Italy) promotes the excellence of Italian winemaking through the discovery of wines and wine cellars. It does so by travelling through Italy in search of the masters of the art of winemaking and visiting incredible places, true monuments of vinification with their prestigious architectural forms which in addition to wine production house works of specially-created contemporary artworks. These are today's wine cellars, buildings that no longer have the sole purpose of being a place where wine is produced, they also strive to create an image for their product. From the old sheds of the past, we have moved on to modern monumental structures, many of which have been designed by world-famous architects. It is an increasingly osmotic blend of wine, art and architecture that takes the form of often spectacular projects, and where tradition and innovation come together in search of a compromise for an increasingly demanding public that is no longer satisfied with appraising the wine that is poured into their glasses. They also want to know how the work in the cellars is carried out and with how much sensitivity the vineyards are tended, all in the name of eco-sustainability. B.E.V.I. is the first series ever made about art in the wine world. It is an incredible world that stirs all the senses, a new frontier for tourism and for lovers of art, architecture and design.
