Matt and his friend Kevin contemplate joining a college fraternity. Annie purchases an old beat-up Camaro and tries to get the family involved in fixing up the car as a gift for Matt. Meanwhile, Simon feels depressed with his mother's pregnancy, believing that the twins will be girls, and also feels left out of fixing up Matt's car as the girls seem to be better at it. Eric tries to spend time with him, but it backfires: Simon thinks an attractive young single woman is flirting with his dad. Matt reconsiders joining the fraternity, but Kevin decides to pledge with or without him, leading to a shocking outcome.
