Tom decides to apply for an empty position at Lynette's firm, which revives past issues in their marriage. Matthew and Danielle's romantic relationship is found out by both their mothers, with major repercussions later on when Betty silences Bree by threatening to tell the authorities about Bree helping Andrew cover up the hit-and-run accident last year if Bree tells anyone about Caleb's presence.
