Eve takes an intense personal dislike to an arrogant Army officer and becomes convinced he is guilty of murdering a woman whose body was found during an exercise. Undeterred by minor details like a complete absence of proof, she jeopardises her career by confronting him in the presence of witnesses and blurting out her suspicions.
