As Art heads south to Winnipeg along 650 miles of Manitoba's winter roads, his truck loses power and grinds to a halt in temperatures of -40C, but Hugh is unsympathetic to his predicament. Lisa is on the way to Oxford House carrying a grader that will be used to smooth the road surface, and the machine's huge size causes a problem at a particularly narrow bridge. Darrell tries to come up with a solution when he finds out his load weighs 20 tons and there's no ramp to get it onto the trailer.
