Elliot is still worried about his undiagnosed illness, and as the launch of the Herzig arrives, he hopes he can get through it without any incidents. However, when he freezes in theatre, he faces not only losing his life's work, but also the potentially devastating truth of what's wrong with him. Serena is forced to bring her mother in to work when her carer fails to turn up, `hiding' her on the ward while she goes about her business, and Zosia struggles to cope with Jesse's abrupt departure.
