The car crash leads to a shocking emergency situation, in which two of Holby's most popular members of staff end up seriously injured. As the paramedics rush them back to hospital, the rest of the team put on a brave face while treating their friends - but just as Hanssen is about to operate on one, the other is taken critically ill, forcing him to choose between his colleagues. Meanwhile, Jonny and Jac deal with a patient who is literally being fought over by his overbearing mother and spoilt fiancee.
