Dne 7. března 2007, Let Garuda 200, Boeing 737. Po krátkém letu z indonéského hlavního města Jakarta, letoun během přistání v Yogyakartě dvakrát silně narazil na dráhu. Z celkových 140 pasažérů na palubě 21 nepřežilo. Vyšetřovatelé jsou pod stálým tlakem, aby zjistili příčiny této nehody.
