Ollie returns to Holby, having been away desperately searching for ways to treat Tara's condition. Can she forgive him for running out on her when she needed him most? Michael and Ramona's blossoming relationship is jeopardised when he asks her to perform duties outside of her role, while Chantelle is desperate to know if Rhys is going to ask her to the New Year party. Unfortunately, a patient with a needle phobia keeps her busy all day, giving Mary-Claire the opportunity to sneak in and try to ask him instead.
