In the ProSieben format “Love is King”, singles of the digital native generation are sent on a romantic journey through time in their search for a potential dream partner, during which they have to completely renounce the habits of modern dating behavior. In the glamorous ambience of a magnificent castle, they immerse themselves in the lifestyle of the early 19th century - including ball evenings, pompous robes, strict rules of conduct and limited communication options. Will the love-hungry candidates manage to master this stately dating challenge and not only find a ball companion, but possibly even their fairytale princess or fairytale prince? Whoever is named the dream couple of the season at the end can not only look forward to a very special romance, but also to considerable prize money (in an amount that is not yet known).
