Overeager to impress the police-supervising alderman's daughter, police recruit Johanna Landau, Overbeck races to a 'suspected bank robbery' only to run over a mystery man and give a PR-suicidal interview, requiring Georg to take him in as hideout for the press. Lush has-been reporter Ingo Peters is murdered shortly after announcing a major scoop but his notes seem meaningless.
