Whether as the wife of nice Dirk, mother of an adult daughter who is expecting her first baby, or as the right hand man of her boss - she has everything under control. Until the CEO's son takes over the business and places new demands on his employees: In the future, English will be the business language. English? To save her job, Connie books a two-week intensive language course on the west coast of Ireland. But Connie is not prepared for her eccentric language teacher Gillian, who is a full-time undertaker with all her heart. Nor does she get along with the second language student: Max travels through the German provinces as a Tom Jones impersonator and now visits his 16-year-old daughter Amy, who lives in Ireland.
