POVZETEK

Medtem ko Strike in Robin iščeta sledi pri treh osumljencih, v London prispe Robinina mati, da bi svojo hčer spodbudila v odločitev o poroki. Po obisku Kelseyjeve sestre je Strike deležen jeznih očitkov višjega detektiva Wardla zaradi vpletanja v policijske posle, medtem pa Robin zaslišuje osumljenčevo punco.
