Part one of two. The body of a teenage girl is discovered in a chalk pit and suspicion soon falls on local hardman Ray Harper's son Andy and his friend after tyre tracks found at the scene point to their involvement. Even though they deny responsibility, CCTV footage and a vodka bottle in the pit with Andy's fingerprints on it cause the police to question their innocence. Roy Marsden guest stars.
