POVZETEK

Edith prejme zelo zanimivo ponudbo, ki pa pri drugih zbudi zelo mešane odzive. Isobel se odloči pomagati Ethel. Nova služkinja Ivy pritegne med ostalo služinčadjo zelo veliko pozornosti. Še posebej se zanjo zanima Alfred, nad čimer pa Daisy ni prav nič navdušena. Annina vztrajnost se končno obrestuje. Matthewvove skrbi glede posesti so čedalje večje, toda njegove besede po vsem sodeč naletijo na gluha ušesa.
