He offers the doctor an old clock in payment for treatment, but the doctor declines, claiming ""the old ticker"" cannot be saved. Overhearing this, Officer Dibble assumes it is Top Cat's heart the doctor is referring to, and sets about making Top Cat's ""last days"" as pleasant as possible.
