POVZETEK

Penelope (Maria Grazia Cucinotta), a mother of three, grows tired of the infidelities of her husband (Alessandro Preziosi) and leaves him. His interest is awakened when he finds love letters kept by his wife, indicating a past love affair. She, on the other hand, tries to find her past lover.
Vanilla and Chocolate is a romantic drama directed by Ciro Ippolito, and offers an entertaining adaptation of the novel of the same name (Vaniglia e cioccolato) by Sveva Casati Modigliani. In the movie, Penelope is a woman tired of the infidelities of her husband, Andrea. She leaves him for good to pursue new interests, leaving him behind. As the plot develops, the couple discovers, both alone and together, the purest forms of love and new methods by which to forgive.
