Broncas, Sexo e Mentiras

"The sex education teacher" ("L'onorevole con l'Amante sotto il letto") is a sexy comedy also coming to us from Italy, put in scene by one of the genre specialists.

Mariano Laurenti ("The teacher and the dunces", "The high school girls redouble", "The night nurse", "The high school student seduces her teachers", "The nurse of the hospital of the regiment", "The high school student makes the eye of the principal "...) is really a reference in terms of sexy comedies and moreover in 1981, when he directed "The teacher of sexual education", he already had a lot to his credit. This one will also be the last of a long series of stupid and saucy comedies that he directed for our greatest pleasure, even if this last film is not one of the best ...

The scenario here has no tail or head and is only a pretext for aligning completely crazy scenes, funny situations, even grotesque and what pairs of breasts from time to time (At most we will also have the right to one or two more pairs of buttocks, so nothing too bad!).

The film features a very sexy young woman, a sex education teacher who, following the loss of her job, is going to blackmail her lover, a senator, so that he finds a new job for her.

It's very light therefore, with humour and daring scenes, but those nostalgic for this typical style of the 70s / early 80s will probably still be delighted, as for others, they will certainly find it completely stupid, even appalling.

But there is one person who makes this movie tick - Lino Banfi - the king of bawdy Italian comedy. He and Alvaro Vitali are hilarious. Vitali was a former electrician who was initially spotted by chance by Federico Fellini.

As for the pretty girls who interest us the most, Janet Agren ("The assassino ha riservato nove poltrone", "The sect of the cannibals", "Frayeurs") plays the main role here and you have to admit that it is still not unpleasant to watch her, even if some prefer one of her competitors at the time - Edwige Fenech - as undoubtedly the most mythical actress of sexy comedies. We will also note the anecdotal presence in the film of Clarita Gatto ("Paprika", "The hostage") and Lory Del Santo ("Boarding for young girls", "The big alligator", "The seducers").

"The sex education teacher" is not a particularly memorable film, far from it. But for die-hard Italian fans of Italian sexy comedies and of Lino Banfi, the bold humour and occasional funny lines see it as an enjoyable feast.
