OPIS

Absorbing film about a gay bus conductor in 1960s Dublin who encounters persecution when he decides to stage an amateur production of Oscar Wilde's banned drama "Salome". The conductor - who gives free poetry recitations to his passengers - is inspired to put on the play when he meets a beautiful country girl who he feels would be perfect as the princess.
