On Halloween, Pride and the team investigate the death of a woman found in a cemetery with what look like vampire bites on her neck and dressed to resemble Count Dracula's first victim. When a second body turns up with all the signs of having been given post-mortem electric shocks by a modern-day Victor Frankenstein, they begin to wonder if they are dealing with a killer who has a penchant for classic horror novels.
