SYNOPSIS

Ivan Sarić, bački Hrvat rođen u Subotici 1876., sportaš, automobilist, biciklist, motociklist, no najpoznatiji je po svojoj pionirskoj ulozi u zrakoplovstvu.
Sarić je daleke 1910. godine sam konstruirao i napravio monoplan te s njim uzletio i preletio 16. listopada iste godine subotičko konjsko trkalište u dužini od tada nevjerojatna tri kilometra. Tada su letjelice imale po 2, pa i 3 para krila pa je Sarićevo čudo bilo još i veće jer je letio u monoplanu, letjelici s jednim parom krila poput današnjih aviona.
