Macaque Island

In Singapore, long tailed macaques are one of the most common wildlife species seen around town. Some, like the Hill Troop, spend most of their time in the jungle, while others, like the Street Troop have become a little more street smart and enjoy a life of easy pickings. The new alpha of the Hill Troop is young, strong and full of ideas, but his inexperience in leadership and the ways of the urban world could lead to some tragic consequences. Matnoor, the seasoned leader of the Street Troop, has plenty of experience on his side, but he’s got a few weak spots – a penchant for junk food and a blind assumption that all the members of his troop are unwaveringly loyal to him.
