Il sequestro Dozier - Un'operazione perfetta

The story of the kidnapping of James Lee Dozier by the terrorists group called "Brigate Rosse" happened between 1981 and 1982 in Italy and the construction of the police operation planned to free him. This docu-serie is enriched by interviews with the protagonists, images and video of 1982 and the testimony of James Lee Dozier in person. During these 42 days the italian Government and the Police were under pressure both internally and internationally, to avoid the same epilogue happened after the kidnapping of Aldo Moro, founded murdered by the same terroristic organization 3 years before. The success of this operation marked the gradual dismantling of the Brigate Rosse but also opened a chapter investigating on the methods used by the Police to obtain informations from the terrorists.
