A Fortune Teller Told Me follows Brendan McDonnell as he travels through Asia examining and experiencing the serious (and not so serious) ways of reading the past, present and future. How influential are fortune tellers today? What skills do they possess? Who seeks them out? What impact do they have on their clients and why do people still have a deep need to consult them? Is our destiny already foretold from the day we are born, and if so, what about free will? With an open mind, Brendan soon finds his rational western mind is being tested and stretched. The series follows his ups and downs as he begins to struggle with matters of the spirit and the unexplained. It is a voyage into the unknown and becomes a voyage of self discovery...
