Review: The Immortal Bachelor

The Immortal Bachelor does not shine formally nor as far as scriptwriting is concerned. Marcello Fondato takes no risks, relying as much as possible on the undeniable qualities of his quartet of main actors. We enjoy watching certain scenes, but we come out frustrated. Blame it on a story that lacks scope. There remains this sequence where Claudia Cardinale smokes a cigarette, thoughtful, in a black negligee.
