Hey Jack; My name is Bob Thyrring. I lived on Block island, RI in the 90's. I went there to perform as a singer songwriter at various resort locations. I have been researching ghost stories most of my life. I am in the process of completing a book of Island ghost stories that I experienced as well as personal stories from Island residents. Block Island is a resort island and people from all over the world go there during the summer. Many sitings have been reported by people from all walks of life Google "Palatine Lights". My book is based on this story. I went a step further and turned this maritime haunting into a book that blends fact and fiction. I would love to share these stories with you if you are interested.
