SYNOPSIS

Bill and Eric team up to save Sookie from a mysterious creature, and Jason has second thoughts about the Light of Day retreat's anti-vampire agenda, but Sarah and Steve try to win him over with flattery and promises. Elsewhere, Sam leaves town after alienating everyone and Jessica heads over to Merlotte's, where a smitten Hoyt falls for her. Meanwhile, Tara is attracted to Eggs, but her advances are rudely interrupted.
