SYNOPSIS

Chinese jeweler Sun Yin Sum is found in his hotel with a fatal skull wound. he was about to buy the Schmandt family's nearby ancestral Rheingau wine estate for his son, final year student Jihn Sun. Schubert has mixed feelings about assistance from Belgian detective inspector Nora Vink, who expects another triad murder in the diamond trade, like in Anwerp where Sum came from. Ojuna, on the hotel security video, seems to fit their prostitute cover MO, but is actually part of John's reluctance to be married off. Reuther also finds skeletons in the Schmandt family's closet, including the possible murder of the father who died just before he planned to sell to the local mayor.
