SYNOPSIS

Gibson is shocked to realise the depths of Sally Ann's desperation, angry that the police have failed the killer's wife, and takes her anger out on Burns, who in turn confronts his own guilt. The superintendent also clashes with Dr Larson over their differing views of Spector, while Anderson is dispatched to London to follow up on his new lead.
