SYNOPSIS

A boy witnesses a fatal attack on his stepmother, but is too frightened to tell the police what happened. Benson and Stabler discover the dead woman was on the run from her abusive husband, taking her stepson with her, and before long the race is on to protect the lad from his father. Sandra Bernhard and Rob Estes guest star.
