SYNOPSIS

An outbreak of the plague in London prompts Will and his friends to escape to the Shakespeare family home in Stratford-upon-Avon. On their way to Warwickshire, they meet three witches (Mina Anwar, Sarah Finigan and Christine Ozanne Weird) who have some surprising predictions to make about the playwright's future, leading to a very serious case of house envy. Comedy by Ben Elton about William Shakespeare's family and professional lives, starring David Mitchell as the Bard, with Harry Enfield, Paula Wilcox and Liza Tarbuck.
