SYNOPSIS

Dr Wells receives a blast from the past when former protege Hartley Rathaway returns to town with a taste for revenge. But his is not an idle threat - caught up in the same explosion as the Flash, he now has the power to manipulate soundwaves, making him a potentially deadly enemy who wants to be known as the Pied Piper. Meanwhile, Iris is on the hunt for headlines when she joins Central City Picture News, although she's not keen on the reporter she's been partnered with.
