SYNOPSIS

New series. The Victorian crime drama returns, catching up with the Leman Street coppers four years after their dramatic clash with unscrupulous fellow inspector Jedediah Shine. Disaster strikes when the train bringing Drake back home from Manchester is derailed near H Division's headquarters, devastating the local area and killing at least 50 people. As Whitechapel nurses its wounds, Reid, Drake and Jackson work to discover the cause of the apparent accident. Meanwhile, social climbing madam Long Susan sets out to reinvent herself as philanthropic industrialist Susan Hart, enlisting the aid of ruthlessly effective lawyer Capshaw to achieve her goal.
