SYNOPSIS

A new recruit reports for his first day of work at the police station, but given his family's history in Aidensfield, not all of the villagers are pleased to see him. Meanwhile, Ben and Liz's fund-raising efforts appear to have rubbed off on Vernon, who begins to show his charitable side.
