Titanic

SYNOPSIS

The story returns to the beginning, to the Belfast shipyard where political strife interferes with the Titanic's construction, prompting the designer to offer electrical engineer Jim Maloney steerage passage on the liner - if he and his team can finish the wiring on time. A month later, as the passengers board, Jim meets a mysterious passenger who unsettles his wife, while in second class, Muriel Batley bitterly resents her husband John's fawning to the Earl and reveals she knows a secret about his employer. But their worries are overshadowed by a looming iceberg and a chaotic scramble for the lifeboats. Drama, starring Toby Jones, Maria Doyle Kennedy and Peter McDonald.
