SYNOPSIS

The horrors of life at the heart of battle in the First World War have left Christopher physically and emotionally exhausted, but he gathers himself once more to prepare men for conscription in Rouen. However, back in London, Sylvia decides to cross the Channel to visit him - little realising the grave consequences her trip could have. Drama, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Rebecca Hall.
