SYNOPSIS

In Madrid, Spain, 191 people are killed and more than 1,800 injured in a mass murder that becomes the deadliest Islamic attack in Western Europe to date. A Spanish court convicts 21 people for their roles in the Madrid subway train bombings, but acquits a lead suspect and six other defendants in a mixed verdict.
