SYNOPSIS

L'hôpital New Amsterdam a la particularité de traiter, sous le même toit, des patients de toute origine. Cet établissement public sous-financé, véritable institution de Manhattan, est bouleversé par l'arrivée à sa tête d'un nouveau directeur, le Dr Max Goodwin, bien décidé à faire bouger les choses.
