SYNOPSIS

Stephen Fry finds himself in the Early Cretaceous period, 125 million years ago. As the continents shift, dinosaurs flourish in different habitats and climates. This leads to an amazing diversity of creatures, including the iconic raptors. In this episode Stephen explores a sandy river valley and comes face to face with the terrifying Utahraptor, the larger cousin of the Velociraptor, whose turkey-sized scale was massively exaggerated in Spielberg’s 'Jurassic Park'.
