SYNOPSIS

Ksiądz Mateusz znajduje w kościele porzucone niemowlę. Dziewczynka ma gorączkę, trafia do szpitala. Jej stan jest krytyczny. Dzięki troskliwej opiece lekarzy i pielęgniarek dziewczynka pokonuje kryzys i powoli wraca do zdrowia. Ksiądz Mateusz i policjanci szukają jej matki. Zbierają informacje o kobietach, które rodziły w ostatnich dniach. Metody policji zawodzą. Dopiero niezwykła spostrzegawczość księdza Mateusza pozwala rozwikłać zagadkę.
