SYNOPSIS

During the grape harvest, the body of a harvest helper is found at Gut Kofler. "Mrs. Commissario" Sonja Schwarz as well as her colleagues Matteo Zanchetti and Jonas Kerschbaumer quickly realize that there are not only many suspects in the vicinity of the dead, but also in that of the winemaker Hans Kofler. In addition, Carla Pisani turns up, an anti-Mafia investigator from Rome, who is out to prove Matteo connections to organized crime. She also pressures Charlotte Keller, who is now in jail, to unpack about her business with the seedy restaurateur Rossi. But Charlotte receives a painful warning from her fellow prisoners. Now the desperate Stefan Keller wants to force Sonja to help him free his wife. He sets in motion a chain of dramatic events that almost cost Sonja her job.
