SYNOPSIS

A story of old age, love, and betrayal, following King Lear, who divides his kingdom between his three daughters based on which of them loves him best. When Cordelia refuses to sweet-talk him like her sisters, he banishes her, only to learn that a thankless child is worse than a serpent's tooth.
