SYNOPSIS

This powerful film is set against the tumultuous backdrop of Iran’s 1953 American-backed coup, where a democratically elected government was replaced by the dictatorship of the Shah. ‘Women Without Men’ follows four women, from different families and classes, as their lives come together.
