SYNOPSIS

Since the border between the UK and Ireland was created in 1922, film crews and journalists have descended there to try and make sense of its absurdities and contradictions, as well as the turmoil it can cause. This programme showcases archival footage from the past 100 years, together with the stories of people whose lives have been affected by the crucial dividing line between the UK and Ireland
