SINOPSIS

Victoria and Albert were passionately in love - a rarity for royal marriages of the time - and their large brood presented the perfect model regal family that we see in countless photographs and paintings. But the truth was very different. Queen Victoria seemed to resent the children for getting in the way of her relationship with Albert. She left the upbringing of her children to him and was always happy to take a back seat in their education and discipline.
