Presented from the Royal Marines Museum at Southsea in Hampshire. The building started life as a barracks for Royal Marines, and since 1864 thousands have been trained and served there. Antiques expert Charles Hanson uncovers a navigational tool and Catherine Southon enthuses about a decorative Japanese cabinet dating back to the 1870s. Meanwhile, Paul Martin finds out what it was like to serve as a Royal Marine Commando.
