SINOPSIS

At Bristol's Southmead Hospital, first-time mother Lucy is terrified of giving birth, while doting boyfriend Sam has his wedding proposal all planned out. Amy and her naval engineer husband Paul arrive for an induction, but it becomes clear he's far more squeamish than he expected, while Dianne and John opt for an elective Caesarean, having experienced serious complications the last time she was in labour.
