SINOPSIS

14-year-old DJ Lockley has lived on a kidney machine for nine hours a day, six days a week for six months. He needs a new kidney, which his mother has agreed to donate, but there is a risk his body could reject it. In Accident and Emergency, seven-year-old Jake is worried he may lose his fingernail, and Professor Simon Carley uses an alternative form of pain relief for a four-year-old who has cut his head open.
