SINOPSIS

Tyler finds his mother vervain-poisoned his beloved Caroline, realizes she ignores his cursed paternal heritage and shows her, chaining himself down at fall moon for transformation. Assisted by will-less Stefano, Klaus forces torture-wounded Ray to betray his werewolf pack so he can bite them to create a hybrid army, but it fails, the spell having been crossed by Elena's secret resuscitation. Damon reluctantly follows Alaric and Elena, who recruited him to search for Stefano, wisely acting as backup. Jeremy, who is haunted by Vicky, gets initially reluctant Matt to help him magically conjure his late sister's ghost, which however yields scary warnings as well as pleas.
