SINOPSIS

Adult siblings Bastian, Annika and Sanne Johnen are startled the family Christmas reunion with (grand)parents Henri and Gitta is to be spent in Norwegian snow, not in Hamburg. Bastian never became independent, counting on parental support and money for his ever-failing projects, no longer easily provided. Accountant Annika, boring spoilsport for contractor husband Christoph and model son Simon (15), isn't amused, feeling least loved, 'there must be more to life' and starts an affair with half-Danish ex-banker local Morten Sjörgen, whose aunt, retired teacher Finja Lund, owns the rented lodge. Academic doctor Sanne had preferred working with hospital 'flirt' colleague Mark Peters, but hides their pregnancy, failing a steady relationship, and susses Gitta's terminal cancer. Lives are changed by the next Christmas.
